Kario Track Working Bee a Great Success!

I'd like to thank all the AHGPC members who came along this morning to Kario and helped out in the working bee. The combination of 6-wheel truck and Mustang skid-steer loader was extremely effective. Instead of placing one 10-ton load of 65 Slag, we ended up ordering in three truck loads of the stuff. We have now filled in the worst of the pot-holes on the track, so 4WD vehicles will find it easier to get up to the launch site over the coming flying season.
Thanks, guys!

Also bring
Also bring spades and grubbers/mattocks to re-form the runoff drains as water is the biggest contributor to track deterioration. It would be good to see a better turnout of hang glider pilots who regularly use this site. The turnout to our last working bee here was dismal.
Cheers
