Hmmm....the short answer is yes it was too windy.
Strangely though when I decided to launch the wind died and I ended up on the beach most annoyed.
Next attempt it was too windy....still winter eh.
Some people did fly but after 2 it was hitting 35km.
I missed friday but saturdaya(25th) afternoon three of us had some good flying. I was happy to do my first flight of the season to get into that mood. A rain cloud passed around 4.30pm and the wind just died. After some parawaiting, I had to do a forward launch at high side to get down .
Coming Sat(1st Sept) looks like no rain and flyable.
Re: Flying Friday 23rd Aug
No luck I'm afraid. Although it does look really good. Get there early! :D Have fun.
Re: Flying Friday 23rd Aug
Did you fly on Friday? I went, saw the whitecaps and went home again. Maybe I should have been braver.

Looks a bit windy to me, Anand, but I hope your forecasting skills are better than mine :)
Re: Flying Friday 23rd Aug
Hate to admit but it looks windy, but you do live with that hope weekend should be flyable :)
Talking about forecast Friday afternoon(31st Aug) looks good, working day for me, but anyone going will have a good flight.

Anand
