Kario this Friday (26th)

Met Service tells me that it’s a low tide tomorrow at Kario at 1:30 p.m. and there will be fine weather and SW winds 15-25 knots. Sounds like it could be good for a noon launch. I’ll aim to be down there from about 10:30 or so onwards. Anyone else interested?
Cheers,
John Burton

Kario today (Friday)
Although the wind was too strong in the morning (22 knots) it died down to 16 knots but 3:30 and I launched then. I had a quick flight and descended vertically (just about) when I landed.
Just a couple of other things: the Kario sign-in log in at the Lodge office (left hand side) not Castaways. There is a new gate across the track, but it is not locked.
