Moirs 11th Oct Sunday

After announing on Twitter SMS(great tool) our intentions to fly at Moirs on Sunday.

Wayne and  myself  reached 11am at Moirs launch, and were joined by Evan, Nick and Xen at 12noon.

the wind was predicted to shift form SE to S/SW past noon and after kitting up and considerable amount of time spent on "who was going to bell the cat(read launch first)", Nick just went for it and within minutes was a at cloudbase prompting the remaining four of us to hurry up and in 5 minutes all of us were on to their own thermal.

Was a good flying day not any great distance but if you are able to get away from Moirs and able to cross the forest consider it a good day, a lot better than landing at bomb out paddock.

Check the ground photo's I have loaded on leonardo. Still havent mustered enough guts to let go of my hand at cloudbase to take photo's, will get there someday,...no hurry!

The last photo is interesting so if you have time, get your magnifying glass and spot the two gliders at cloudbase and if you cant spot them, call me , fix an appointment, $100  consultation fee to spot the glider's on the photo......Smile
