Waiheke flying

Hi

I have a place on Waiheke and would be very keen to fly there.  According to the vnc chart there are two flying sites, were these areas used by the towing company that used to operate there or are there soarable cliffs?  Any feedback from someone that has flown there or knows someone that has flown there would be much appreciated.

There was a commercial winching op there on Onetangi beach I believe. The cliffs either side are soarable. Ive flown at the W end of Palm beach.

 

Most of the problem is finding a suitable takeoff (read caring landowner) to launch from so if you have a property to fly from your well setup.

Keen to come over for the day if its working. Maybe twitter when you plan it?
