Visiting pilot

G'day all...!

 

Well my flights are booked and I'm really looking forward to my visit. Coming over on the 9th Oct and heading home on the 19th.

 

I normally fly in Canberra and my visit is all about learning how to do some high speed soaring which you guys have a huuuge reputation for.    The local pilots here think I'm totally insane.  Laughing

 

Are there many pilots who fly during the week..?   I know we have a few desperates (like myself) that are always out if its "on".

I'm a shift worker so I fly during the week pretty regularly. Give us a call or a txt when you're here on oh-two-one triple one 7021. Here's hoping for 20 knots.

It's going to take some getting used to the concept of flying in 20k winds... scares me stupid even thinking about it....

Well what an amazing day...

Thanks to all the locals who were so friendly today, I had a blast.

With any luck the next few days may well be just as interesting.

Wednesday looks like it might be your best bet for high wind soaring. Will keep an eye on it.
