This is the second of the Election newsletters and will deal with North Shore City Council candidates. We will be sending out the newsletter for Community Boards in the next day or so.
COUNCIL CANDIDATES
Below are listed the North Shore City Council candidates in each Ward whom we strongly recommend that you vote for and who are against a commercial airport at Whenuapai. Most of these candidates are currently either Councillors or Community board members.
NORTHERN WARD

If, for any reason you do not want to vote for one of the above candidates, then in the Northern Ward the following also oppose Whenuapai:- Warwick Barrington-Nash, Stuart Broome, Dan White, John Van Lierop, Andrew Riley, Michael Blake, Stephen Martin, John McLean, Alan McCulloch. For the Harbour Ward: - Grant Gillon, Karl Gatoloai, David Thornton. We do not have any other candidates for the Central Ward.
Once again > please send this email on to any of your neighbours, friends or relatives who live anywhere on the North Shore and who are not members of WAAG. We MUST get these people elected > at the very least, we need 9 Council members opposed to a commercial airport at Whenuapai to have the majority to remove the Council from the airport company and oppose the Waitakere City Council. If we do not change the Council's composition, our task will be made that much more difficult!
