Paeroas/Kaimais site clearing.

Xen's picture

This in from Dennis Green.

"It is proposed to have a working bee 25th & 26th April to clear the encroachment of scrub into the launch areas on the Paeroas, Saturday, and the Kaimais on the Sunday.

It is intended to do this  as long as the weather is ok for such work.

Flying will be   a welcome bonus.

Bring safety glasses, ear muffs, gloves etc.

Have a scrub cutter, weed eater  ? Bring it along.

An early start  and a mornings effort will  acheive the desired results. (fly arvo)"

If anyone care to join me and go down please add a comment to this post.

Cheers,

Xen.

We can probably do that. It

We can probably do that. It would be good to enlarge the launches if we want to run another Nats. I will be in Rotorua working until Fri 24 with no car  so any chance of a ride back?

No problem. Probably stay

No problem. Probably stay Paeroas Saturday night and head to kaimais Sunday morning.

Stormy weather...

Due to the lovely weather we are having at the moment the eagerly anticipated site clearing session at the Paeroas/Kaimais has been regretfully postponed.

Mark Alton tells me we'll try again in a couple of weeks because suprise suprise, the following weekend is looking a bit rough too!

Cheers,

Xen.
