Auckland/Waikato comp next weekend
The last competition of the season and the last chance to score some points on the ladder. The weather is looking good for a trip south to the Paeroas so be prepared for a fun weekend camping at Waikite and flying our biggest hill. Last year the tasks were amongst the best we have ever had with many pilots flying personal bests over 40km. It is a great site for low airtime pilots so come along and have a go. Yes it is on. We will start registration and downloads at the Waikite Camp ground at 0930 on Saturday. Late entries can be done on the hill but don't expect a waypoint download. You will have to do that by going to the Auckland club comp page in the link above before you come. I have booked a few tent sites at Waikite so we can enjoy the hot pools, have dinner at the restaurant and re-live the flying stories all night.
