Weather station update

After two small work parties  ( thanks to Jeff, Mark, Nick, Xen, Janice and Evan) we now have  a 10m high mast  installed at Dill's Hill.  The brackets are fitted and ready for final installation of the weather station. We should have it up and going in a week or so. Mark also organised a digger to work on track repair and drainage over winter so access is much better too. Still 4WD only though.

New brackets and electronics box for the Moirs station are ready to go in too so as soon as we get a chance to install it that one will be up a running.    Hopefully with the new brackets it will be a little more resistant to the vandals.

Dills Hill weather station is oerational

Thanks to a non flying day Jeff, Evan, Nick and Janice finished installing the station today. The number to call is in the site guide. I will post some pictures of it when I get another non-flying day to load them. Not this weekend though, it's too good.
