Mangawahi Heads. DOC sign

It has been brought to my attention recently that a sign has been put at Mangawahi Heads that displays a paraglider with a line through it. One assumes no paragliding allowed. The sign is located at the northern end of the Heads past the "gap", and at the head of the walking track that passes through the previously private land there.
It is not at the normal take off site which is accessable via a track located behind the toilet block adjacent to the car park.

My understanding is that this sign went up following the purchase of the land by DOC, and it was at the request of the landowner.
I have not had the chance to sight the sign and I would appreciate if anyone is flying at Mangawahi Heads to go and look for this sign and let me know it's exact location.

The club will liasie with DOC to clarify their intent. In the meanwhile, Mangawhai Heads is still open. Happy flying!
