Paragliding Competition Committee

Can you please pass this on to your club members.  The Paragliding Competition Committee is a sub committee of the   NZHGPA and has responsibility for coordinating the paragliding   competitions throughout the year. They provide support to the   organisers, revise the rules as required, do a bit of laising with   the FAI regarding comps, oversee selection of the national team....   and generally discuss comp stuff.  The Paragliding Competition Committee is normally elected at the   National Championships by the pilots there. It also can be appointed   by the NZHGPA executive.  However this year, the election was not held at the champs, so we now   have the situation of appointing a committee.  Last year's committee was:Quentin SmithKat WestDaron Brinsdon.  Daron has stood down, but Quentin & Kat have agreed to be involved   again. Evan Lamberton has also agreed to be on the committee to   replace Daron, and keep the North Island represented.  This email is to inform the clubs of the situation, and to ask for   any other nominations.  If other nominations are received, then we will do an email ballot.  If no other nominations are forthcoming, then Quentin, Kat & Evan's   names will be sent to the executive for appointment to the PCC.  Please send any nominations to NZHGPAPCC@googlegroups.com, or post to   Kat West 116 Loess Lane, RD 2, Wanaka before the 29th of February   2008 (just over two weeks away)  Regards,  Kat.
